Hazard Communication: Employee Right-to-Know in MN-Virtual
Are your employees working with or potentially exposed to hazardous substances or harmful agents such as chemicals, particulates, noise, heat, or radiation? This course addresses BOTH General Industry and Construction, and is intended for managers/supervisors, superintendents, leads/foremen, safety personnel and trainers. Topics include:
- Overview of hazardous materials and toxic substances
- Overview of harmful physical agents (noise, heat, radiation)
- Overview of infectious agents (plants, animals, viruses, bacteria, molds)
- Workplace evaluation and hazard classification
- OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200)
- Minnesota’s Employee Right-to-Know Standard
- Globally Harmonized System (GHS)
- Safety data sheets and labeling
- Training and communication
