Permit-entry confined spaces present many unique hazards, and are dangerous to workers if employers do not properly evaluate, plan, and manage entries. Employers must ensure that a team approach is always utilized, measures are taken to minimize hazardous conditions warranting emergency rescue, and that entrants can be immediately rescued. This course addresses BOTH General Industry and Construction, and is intended for authorized entrants, attendants, entry-supervisors, managers, supervisors, superintendents, foremen, safety personnel, and rescue personnel.
