Every year, the Minnesota Safety Council – and our partners – recognize and celebrate employers throughout the State of Minnesota for safety and health excellence in protecting our workforce from injuries, illnesses, and incidents through the Minnesota Governor’s Workplace Safety Achievement Awards program.
To be considered for an award, an organization must submit an application that includes general information regarding the employer’s organization, elements of the employer’s safety/heath management systems, and the injury/illness information for the previous three (3) years. Consideration is given to all applicants who are eligible to apply, and achievement is honored at the annual Minnesota Safety & Health Conference in early May.
Applications may be submitted beginning Tuesday, January 2, 2024 through the Minnesota Safety Council’s online application portal. After submitting an application, the employer will receive a confirmation e-mail that the application has been received. All information provided is protected and confidential.
The deadline for submitting applications is Thursday, February 15, 2024. Applications will not be accepted after, and applications may not be modified or otherwise revised after the application deadline. Applicants are strongly encouraged to complete their applications thoughtfully and deliberately when applying.
